The Club’s Community Outreach Committee would like to call on Union Club members to lend a hand with the local charitable organization HeroWork.
HeroWork was originally created to improve the state of buildings that house charities. From their first project in Victoria, BC, they witnessed an increased sense of pride and engagement for clients, staff and volunteers inhabiting the new space.
The latest project that HeroWork is working on – Dignity Market & Office Rebuild for
The Mustard Seed – is looking for general volunteers to lend a hand on Sunday, November 4 from 9am to about 4pm. Lunch is provided (with live entertainment).
They could use as many as 15 people. Full length pants and closed toed shoes are mandatory. Gloves are a good idea, too.
If you are interested in volunteering, please visit this link and complete the form.
